I partnered with Spectral AI as their founding design team for a blockchain-based solution that allows users to solve real-world challenges through competitions and be rewarded in crypto. Through extensive research into traditional crowd challenges and our deep understanding of Web3 practices, I managed to design a product that was easy to grasp by both traditional users of the space and also more novice users who were not familiar with crowd challenges.
Goal
Spectral AI is the first platform to incorporate blockchain technology with solving crowd challenges. The team needed an MVP that would allow their users to easily create competitions, submit, track, and receive their payment on the same platform.
Challenge
The main challenge was making a design that was intuitive and easy to understand for users who were new to crypto. Most of the target market never used crypto products before. The solution needed to focus on the traditional industry while at the same time educating users, in parts, where they needed to be informed about Web3 technology.
Solution
During the 4-week design sprint, I produced a fully interactive prototype that blended together Web3 technology with the world of crowd challenges. After carefully iterating the prototype during 5 usability tests, users were super happy to go through the whole flow.
